Organic Pepitas are the inner part of edible pumpkin seeds. They have been consumed for centuries for their nutritious properties and delectable flavour and texture.
Organic Pepitas are known for containing a good range of amino acids, essential fatty acids, protein and over 50% unsaturated fat. As well as minerals and vitamins including zinc, iron, calcium, phosphorus, potassium, manganese, B vitamins and vitamin E.
These Organic Pepitas can be enjoyed in many ways, they're most commonly consumed raw but can also be sprouted, activated or roasted. They make a great snack with other nuts and seeds or a delicious addition to salads and breakfast cereals. Try them in your baked goods for an extra crunch or even make pepita milk as an alternative to nut milks.
